Can you tile over the existing surround?
We do not. Tiling over an existing surround traps whatever is already failing behind it, and it is the reason most surrounds get redone twice. The old one comes out.
Is this price a quote?
No — it is a starting price. Final pricing depends on the size of the space, the tile you choose, and the condition of what is behind the existing walls. You get a fixed, itemized written proposal after the consultation, before any work begins.
Who actually does the work?
Our own certified team. Luxive holds Certified Tile Installer #1566, and the installation is not subcontracted out.
What warranty do I get?
A written 5-year workmanship warranty, plus the manufacturer warranties on the waterproofing and setting materials, handed over at the final walk-through.
